Fuchs To Dominate CVT Market

The shift by European and Japanese vehicle manufacturers to Continuously Variable (Automatic) Transmissions (CVT) has created a vacuum in the market for specialised lubrication fluid to care for this new technology.

Already at the forefront of product development, Fuchs, The Lubricant Specialists will add two new CVT transmission fluids to their range in February; for all Nissan and Honda manufactured CVT’s.  With Fuchs already producing CVT fluid for European vehicles the addition of these two products will see the world’s leading independent lubricant company dominate the CVT fluid market.

“With Fuchs’ Titan ATF CVT Type H and Titan ATF CVT Type NS-2 fluids for Hondas and Nissans respectively, we can now supply the automotive industry with the type of specialised, high performance fluids that it needs,” said Rob Hughes, Fuchs’ National Automotive Sales Manager.

“Both the Nissan and Honda transmissions use a specially formulated fluid and are not like others used in, say, European cars.  Our product development team have been working on adding these fluids to our range and now we are pleased to say they are available,” Hughes added.
